Asia-Pacific Telecom Co Ltd (APT) has selected Ericsson to modernize the communications service provider’s network and support with 5G Non-Standalone (NSA) Multi-Operator Core Network readiness. This includes integration with Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) on the 3.5GHz frequency band in Taiwan.

India becomes the first Amazon Prime country in the world to offer customers a mobile-only Prime Video plan. Powered by affordable data, the ubiquitous smartphone has become the country’s preferred screen for entertainment. Prime Video Mobile Edition is a single-user mobile-only plan, providing SD quality streaming to customers which is created especially for a mobile-first country like India.  Prime Video is collaborating with Airtel, India’s premier communications solutions provider, for the first roll-out of Prime Video Mobile Edition.

Tata Communications, a global digital ecosystem enabler, has been recognised by global environmental non-profit organisation, Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) with the distinguished ‘A-’ leadership score for implementing current best practices in sustainability for climate change. Tata Communications score is higher than the global average of ‘C’ and higher than the Asia region average of ‘D’. The company scores the highest global score for playing a leading role in Climate Change governance, value chain management, energy efficiency, risk and opportunity disclosures in CDP 2020 reporting.

ZTE Corporation, a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, has helped the Inner Mongolia branch of China Telecom complete the construction of directly connected nodes in the national-level Internet backbone in Hohhot, and implement device deployment and service provisioning. That indicates the successful Internet information interconnection in the region. China Telecom has made great progress in 163 backbone construction.
